Families who lost relatives in a hospital outbreak of Clostridium difficile are to ask MSPs to back a public inquiry into the issue. Calls for an immediate public inquiry into a fatal hospital outbreak of Clostridium difficile have won the support of a Holyrood committee.

Ms Stewart will also tell MSPs on the committee, which is sitting in Glasgow, that everyone affected by the outbreak should be involved with deciding the scope of any public inquiry.
