Two men, aged 31 and 35, are being held on suspicion of murder and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Police have been given more time to question three men who were arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder.
It follows earlier arrests of three men from Blackburn, aged 33, 36, and 39 who remain in custody. A further three men are being held on suspicion of murder while two women and a man have been detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The new arrests were made in the Blackburn area on Tuesday evening, Lancashire Police said. The suspects are aged 19 to 39.
