The woman was evacuated by members of the Strathclyde Police and Arrochar Mountain Rescue teams, who were training nearby, and Cairngorm Mountain Ltd Ski Patrol staff. Team effort
"It would have been extremely difficult to stop sliding because the snow here at the moment is iron- hard.
"Conditions on Coire Cas were breezy but clear.
"The one positive thing about the accident was that the Strathclyde Police and Arrochar Mountain Rescue Teams were in the vicinity at the time."
He added: "It was a great team effort by everyone involved; the mountain rescue teams, police and ambulance crews, and the ski patrol staff reacted magnificently.
"Everything that could be done was done."
