Investigations are continuing into how a man died when overhead power cables came down in Devon. A Devon university vice-chancellor has been killed because of overhead power cables coming down near Plymouth.
The man, aged in his 60s, was walking his dog and is thought to have brushed against a cable that came down in stormy weather in fields in Wembury. Prof Roland Levinsky, 63, of the University of Plymouth, was walking his dog when the accident occurred in a field in Wembury on Monday.
