Man dies after falling from taxi

A 27-year-old man has died after receiving head injuries in a late night fall from a taxi.

South Wales Police were called to Afan Valley Road in Cwmavon, near Port Talbot, at 2330 GMT on Friday.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where he died.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident or to the driving of a white R registration Ford Mondeo estate to contact them on 01656 655555.
