Gang targets couple in hijacking

A man and woman have been forced from their vehicle during a hijacking in Crossgar, County Down.

The couple were travelling in a Land Rover on the Cluntagh Road at 0300 GMT on Saturday, when it was blocked by a dark saloon car.

A group of men got out of the car and forced the man and woman out of the Land Rover.

The men escaped in the vehicle in the direction of Bell's Hill. The victims were not injured in the incident.
