Man arrested over 'tied-up' death

A 20-year-old man from south Manchester has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found tied up in Lancashire.

The body of 22-year-old Umair Waseem was found in a car park off Moor Road, by Anglezarke Reservoir, in Chorley at about 1000 GMT on 2 February.

His hands were tied behind his back, his feet were bound and he had suffered head injuries, police said.

Police said a silver BMW Mr Waseem had been driving was also at the car park.

He had last been seen on Sunday night.
