Version 0 of 1.

A man has been charged with careless driving after three people - including two sisters - died in a crash, BBC Scotland has learned.

Elena Putnam, 18, her sister Rachel, 20, and Rachel's boyfriend Mark Gardiner, 22, died in the crash on the B9022 south of Portsoy last July.

The case against Graham Reid, 44, of Portsoy, called at Banff Sheriff Court earlier this month.

The case was continued without plea until next month.

The three who died were all from Cullen.
