Man, 73, accused of murdering son

A 73-year-old man has been charged with murdering his son in a stabbing in south London.

Ossie James, of Brockill Crescent in Brockley, was arrested after Joseph James, 44, was found with stab wounds on Saturday evening.

His son, who lived in Deptford, died in King's College Hospital. The Metropolitan Police said a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Mr James is due to appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court on Monday.
