He then moved on to the Waterstones bookstore in Cirencester where the jury heard he spread the brown liquid over the toilet in the coffee shop. He then moved on to the Waterstones bookstore in Cirencester, Tesco in Quedgley and Morrisons in Abbeydale.
Staff from the store noticed the smell and later discovered a 20m area of 38 shelves contaminated with the foul substance, contaminating 706 books.
The court heard Daifallah had travelled to Tesco in Quedgley on 16 May where a shopper saw him spray a jet of brown fluid over the frozen chips.
He later travelled four miles to Morrisons in Abbeydale where an employee noticed an overpowering stench and Daifallah acting strangely in the wine section.

The chemist also denied owning bottles of urine and faeces found in his kitchen with sachets of excrement labelled with a city - Bristol, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Worcester, Cardiff and Gloucester.
The jury heard Daifallah had been questioned by police about four incidents in February 2008 after a brown liquid had been sprayed in the toilets and around the tables of four pubs in Stroud.
