Version 0 of 1.

Two teenagers have been arrested after two girls were killed in a road accident in Plymouth on Friday evening.

A green Vauxhall Nova overturned and split in two during the crash on Gdynia Way, which is one of the main routes into the city.

The female passengers were taken to Derriford Hospital, where they both later died of their injuries.

A 17-year-old man and an 18-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They are due to be interviewed by police later.

The closure of Gydnia Way is causing major disruption to traffic into the city from Plymstock and the South Hams.

Motorists are being diverted at the traffic lights on Laira Bridge through the Cattedown Industrial Estate.
