During her earlier interview about failing to self-isolate while waiting for her Covid-19 test results, NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian again called on Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to fully reopen her border to residents of Greater Sydney. On Monday night New South Wales police confirmed that a food delivery cyclist was killed in a road collision on an inner-Sydney street.
Berejiklian said she hopes that Palaszczuk announces the decision after she meets with QLD health authorities today. It was the fifth death among food delivery workers across Australia in the past two months.
