Man, 20, killed in crash on A76

A 20-year-old man has died following a car crash near Cumnock in East Ayrshire.

The man was driving alone on the A76 in a silver MG ZR when he apparently lost control of the car and it left the road.

Emergency services attended the accident, which happened at about 1900 GMT on Friday, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
