Teenager dies after stab attack

An 18-year-old man has died after he was stabbed in the chest in Livingston on Friday night.

Lothian and Borders Police said the victim was involved in an altercation on a pathway to the rear of Rushbank at about 2130 GMT.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but died from his injuries.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and is due to appear at Linlithgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
