Petrol bombers attack NI police | |

Police investigating the murder of two soldiers in Northern Ireland have come under petrol bomb attack from rioters. | |
The officers had been carrying out searches in Lurgan, County Armagh, where prominent Republican Colin Duffy was arrested over the killings. | |
Also in Lurgan, officers probing the murder of Pc Stephen Carroll have found a gun and ammunition. | |
And a woman, 30, and a man, 37, have been arrested in Craigavon, Co Armagh, in connection with terrorist crime. | |
Police searched Mr Duffy's house throughout Saturday and came under attack from youths who threw stones at them. | |
Republican protesters gathered and in the early evening threw a number of petrol bombs at the police in several different places in the town. | |

Pc Carroll, 48, was shot while on duty in Craigavon on Monday. | |
