An incident near Lansing, Michigan last summer also saw an elderly man stabbed following an argument over face coverings. Less than an hour later, the attacker was shot and killed by a local sheriff’s deputy after confronting him with a knife. Elsewhere in Michigan, a security guard at a Flint dollar store was fatally shot last year by a customer who refused to wear a mask inside. An incident near Lansing, Michigan last summer also saw an elderly man stabbed following an argument over face coverings.
