An Orange Hall has been attacked near Ballymoney, County Antrim, the police have said.

Three windows were broken at Drumlee Orange Hall, on the Mullan Road, and a sealed container with liquid was thrown inside.

Police said the exact nature of the liquid has not yet been established and the container has been removed for examination.

Green paint was thrown and a window broken at the hall in February.

The Orange Order is the largest Protestant organisation in Northern Ireland.

Every year thousands of Orangemen and supporters attend Twelfth of July parades to mark the anniversary of the battle of the Boyne, in which William of Orange defeated King James.
