A man has died as a result of a shooting incident in a County Antrim village, police have said. A man has been shot dead in Templepatrick, County Antrim.
The incident, near Lylehill Road and the main street in Templepatrick, was reported shortly before 2200 BST on Monday. The attack happened shortly before 2200 BST on Monday at a house in the Lylehill Road area of the village, which is ten miles north of Belfast.

The attack happened near a house and neighbours were left stunned by the violent incident. South Antrim DUP MP William McCrea said he did not think dissident republican involvement would be the "leading line of inquiry".
Police want anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have information about the incident to get in touch. "I certainly hope it is not, but irrespective of who is responsible - we've got to catch them, we've got to take these killers of the streets of Northern Ireland.
