Major search to find missing boy

Police in Devon have begun a major search to find a missing seven-year-old boy who vanished after playing with friends.

Seamus McGill was last seen at about 1700 BST in Brewery Park, off Lower Ellacombe Church Road, in Torquay.

He is described as white, 4ft (1.2m) tall and slim with short blond hair. He was wearing a green Cockington School jumper and grey trousers.

Police have urged anyone with information to call 999.

All police units in the Torbay area are taking part in the search.
