Three charged over petrol bombing Trio in court over petrol bombing

Three people have been charged in connection with a petrol bomb attack in County Londonderry. A 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth have been remanded in custody charged in connection with a petrol bomb attack on a house in Limavady.
The charges relate to an incident in Anderson Park, Limavady, at about 0250 BST on Friday. A 14-year-old youth, who also appeared before Londonderry Magistrates Court charged in connection with the incident, has been released on bail.
A woman who was in the house at the time escaped injury. A woman, who was in the house at Anderson Park at the time of the attack on Friday morning, escaped injury.
A 24-year-old man and two teenagers, aged 17 and 14, are due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Saturday. No date has been set for their next appearance in court.
Gareth McDowell, 24, from Anderson Park in the town, and the 14-year-old were charged with possessing a petrol bomb and with causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life.
The 17-year-old is charged with conspiring to commit criminal damage.
Neither of the teenagers can be named for legal reasons.
