Toddler among four new flu cases UK's swine flu total rises to 184

A two-year-old boy is among four new cases of swine flu, bringing the UK total to 137, health chiefs have said. A total of 47 new cases of swine flu have been diagnosed, bringing the UK total to 184, health chiefs have said.
The boy, from Oxford, was a "close household contact" of a 29-year-old woman already diagnosed with the virus, Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust said. Some 44 of those are linked to an ongoing investigation of an outbreak at a school in the West Midlands.
A female from London's Tower Hamlets, who recently travelled abroad, was also named as a new case of the H1N1 virus. Earlier, it was announced a two-year-old boy from Oxford was among four cases confirmed on Tuesday morning.
Two more people linked to a Birmingham school have developed swine flu, in addition to four previous cases. The boy, was a "close household contact" of a 29-year-old woman already diagnosed with the virus, Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust said.
'Localised cases'
Along with pupils themselves, the cases at Welford School in Handsworth include a relative of a pupil and a teacher.
The combined total for the West Midlands region stands at 13.

The boy in Oxford is receiving anti-viral drugs and making a good recovery along with the woman, Oxfordshire PCT said. She had recently returned from a trip to the US.
The latest case in London brought the total there to 71, while the tally for England stands at 123, with 13 in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland.
