A petrol bomb has been thrown at a house in west Belfast. A woman whose mother and 11-year-old daughter escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack has said she has no idea why her family were targeted.

An 11-year-old girl and her 51-year-old grandmother were in the house at the time. They were not injured but were said to be shaken by their ordeal. Kerry Tolan's daughter was staying with her grandmother, who lives alone in the house, when they awoke to find the front of the property on fire.
"My girl was squealing while my mother froze, she was in shock," she said.
