“If we have community spread of the virus over coming weeks, then it may well be that 5 February date changes. “I’m advised that the decision of the Supreme Court today was by one police officer, and the order about 30 police personnel with 23 small clusters.
“It may well be it comes forward because if we have major community spread of the virus across the community, it may well be that February 5 becomes redundant. “And some other officers and police stop. This in junction application was in respect of one alone, and the advice I got from the states is that the court has held that the rules on that officer does not apply to the others.
“Now, I said this prior to the outbreak. I said I hope need make it to February 5. The plan was to make it to February 5 without community spread of the virus.” “I intend to get further advised this afternoon further proceedings from here.”
