A 16-year-old boy has been tied up by masked men who broke into his County Tyrone home and stole legally-held guns.

The weapons - three shotguns and two rifles - were stored inside a gun cabinet which was wrenched from a wall in the house at Eglish Road, Dungannon.

The five-man gang also took ammunition and cash during the robbery, which took place early on Tuesday morning.

The teenager was not hurt and was later able to free himself.
