A six-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a river in Suffolk. A six-year-old boy on an organised trip with other young people has died after being pulled from a river in Suffolk.
The boy was found by officers called to Ballingdon Bridge, in Sudbury, on Tuesday evening. The child, who lived locally, was found in the River Stour near Ballingdon Bridge in Sudbury on Tuesday evening.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said paramedics were called to reports of a drowning in Sudbury at 1922 BST.
She said two ambulances attended the scene and found a boy who was not breathing.
Police and a community first responder were already on the scene and the boy was taken to hospital.
The police spokeswoman said a cordon around the area had been lifted and officers had offered support to the boy's family.
