Mr Bercow received 221 votes in the second round, Tory Sir George Young got 174 and Margaret Beckett got 70 votes. Margaret Beckett, Sir Alan Beith and Sir Alan Haselhurst also dropped out after second round votes were tallied.
Father of the House Alan Williams has asked other candidates if they want to withdraw at this stage. Mr Bercow got 221 votes in the second round while Sir George got 174.
Margaret Beckett had received 70 votes while Sir Alan Beith and Sir Alan Haselhurst, received 46 and 57 votes respectively.
