Two with swine flu die in county

Two people in West Yorkshire have died after contracting swine flu.

A man and a girl from the Kirklees district, who both had underlying health issues, have passed away. There is no connection between them.

A spokesperson for NHS Kirklees confirmed the deaths but refused to give any further details. The girl died on Thursday and the man died on Sunday.

She said: "At this stage, we have no confirmation whether or not swine flu was the cause of death."
