The man had been biking with his 19-year-old friend. His family said they hoped his death would act as a warning to others.
Northern Constabulary said: "Police are carrying out inquiries in relation to the incident but there do no appear to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. Mr Morrison, from Back, Lewis, had been biking with his 19-year-old friend.
"The man's identity is not being released until all next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place." In a statement, his family said: "He will be sorely missed and always remembered in our hearts.
"It is hoped that through the death of Craig that others will be more aware of how dangerous quads can be."
