Man dies following assault in south Gloucestershire Murder charge after man stabbed to death in Charfield

A man has died following an assault in south Gloucestershire. A man has been charged with murder after another man was stabbed to death.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers and ambulance crews were called to an address in Thames Close, Charfield, just before 23:00 BST on 24 June. Marcus Dunkerton, 40, was found by officers at Thames Close, Charfield, Gloucestershire, just before 23:00 BST on Friday, Avon and Somerset Police said.
Although the victim has not been formally identified, the force said his family were aware and were being supported by specially trained officers. Grant Bradley, 46, of Blackwell Street, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, has been charged with murder.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. He is in custody and is due at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen an earlier altercation in the Railway Tavern pub on Wotton Road. Mr Bradley has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
They are also asking for any information or CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which could help the investigation. Det Ch Insp Phil Walker, of Avon and Somerset Police, said Mr Dunkerton's family was being supported by specially-trained officers.
He asked anyone who was at the Railway Tavern in Wotton Road, between 21:00 and 23:00 on Friday, to get in touch.
Police are also asking for any information or CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that could help the investigation.
