Two held over charity shop fire

Two men have been arrested in connection with a fire at an Islamic Relief charity shop in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the shop in Albert Drive, Pollokshields, on 2 July to tackle the blaze.

Strathclyde Police said the men, aged 23 and 34, have been arrested and a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.

The men are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, a statement from the force said.
