The volunteers were working in Kathiami with the Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland charity. The volunteers, aged between 18 and 61, were working in Kathiami with Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland.

A spokesperson for the charity said the families had been informed and arrangements made for the immediate family of the most seriously injured team member to travel to Kenya. The group had only started work on Monday helping local families build new homes.
It is believed they were on their way to begin a second days work when the accident happened.
