Missing hiker posters handed out

Keith Webster, 46, from the Liverpool area, was last seen in Llanberis on Monday morning. Police, RAF helicopters, mountain rescue teams and search and rescue dogs have been continuing their search for Mr Webster. Officers are distributing posters in Llanberis in the hope that someone will recognised Mr Webster. Mr Webster's car was parked overnight on Monday at the Electric Mountain visitors' car park. He was last seen at 1015 BST that day in the area. Mountain rescue teams have been combing the Llanberis area since about 0530 BST on Tuesday with more than 40 people involved. Sergeant Non Gibson from North Wales Police said: "We are concerned for Mr Webster's safety and are appealing to anybody who may know of his whereabouts, or to anyone who may have seen a man of a similar description to contact us immediately. "We are particularly keen on speaking to anybody who has been walking in the area and who may have seen him to get in touch." Mr Webster is believed to be wearing a brown jacket and jeans, black trainers and was carrying a small black backpack.
