Thief with knife robs newsagents

Shortly after 1330 BST a man went into the shop on Lockview Road, Stranmillis. He put a plastic bag on the counter, produced a large black-handled knife, demanded money from the till then ran off towards Governor's Bridge. The robber is described as aged 30 to 40, of a stocky build, wearing a navy baseball cap, blue jeans and a dark blue sports waterproof jacket. Detectives have appealed for anyone who may have any information about the robbery to contact them at Musgrave Street on 0845 600 8000. |
