Brian Moorhead, Rhys's great-uncle, said the boy's grandparents, Tony and Sharon Moorhead, were "distraught"
Mr Moorhead, 57 and from Middlesbrough, said: "Tony said to me he just disappeared off the face of the earth.
"One minute he was there, the next he was gone. I'm worried and shocked."
