A school in north Belfast has been damaged in an attempted arson attack. A school in north Belfast has been attacked by arsonists for the second time in the space of a month.
A number of attempts were made to set alight the canteen at Stella Maris School on the Shore Road and paint was thrown over the building. A number of attempts were made to set fire to the canteen at St Mary Star of the Sea Primary School on Shore Road and paint was thrown over the building.
It was the fourth school to be targeted by arsonists in the greater Belfast area in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, fires were started in different parts of the Catholic primary school and paint and sectarian graffiti was spattered over the building.
