Version 0 of 1.

The man cleared of the 1998 Omagh bombing has appeared in court charged with drink driving.

Sean Hoey, 39, was over the limit when he was stopped by police in his home village of Jonesborough earlier this month, Newry Magistrates Court heard.

A police officer told the court he could connect him with the charge. Mr Hoey, of Molly Road, was ordered to appear in court again next month.

He is the only man to face criminal charges over the Omagh massacre.

In December 2007, he was acquitted of a total of 58 charges in one of the biggest murder trials in legal history.
