Man dies in harbour jump accident

A man in his 20s has been killed in an accident while jumping into the water from a harbour wall in Moray.

Grampian Police said the incident happened at about 1640 BST in the seaside town of Findochty.

A spokesman for the force said the death was not being treated as suspicious. The man's next of kin have been informed.

A number of people were at the harbour at the time and police have asked them to come forward with information.
