Stephen Baldwin, a builder who was working near the scene of the incident, said he and co-workers heard a man shouting and a girl swearing at around 1230 BST.
"It went on for about 10 minutes," he said.
"We went for dinner at 1pm, we came back at 1.30 and the place was swarming with police.
"They were going from and around the car park and they stopped the cars from leaving and when they eventually let them out they were taking their number plates.
"The forensics went in at about a quarter-to-two."
