Hunt for baby missing with father Missing baby found safe and well

An appeal to find a nine-month-old baby girl who has gone missing with her father from her home in Gloucester has been launched by police. A nine-month-old baby who was missing from her home in Gloucestershire has been found safe and well in the West Midlands, police said.
Malayah Delayney vanished after Desmond Bacchus visited her at his former partner's home on Monday morning. Malayah Delayney vanished after her father Desmond Bacchus, 22, visited her at his former partner's home in Gloucester on Monday morning.
Police are concerned for the baby's welfare as Mr Bacchus, 22, took her without telling her mother. The infant was reported missing by her mother later that morning. A man is helping police with their inquiries.
He left in a green Honda civic and is believed to have travelled to the Birmingham area. Police said Malayah was being checked by the authorities.
Malayah was wearing a pink and white striped baby grow.
She was reported missing by her mother to police at 1150 BST on Monday.
Det Ch Insp Neil Kelly, of Gloucestershire police, said: "Our priority is to ensure Maylayah's safety and wellbeing and I urge Desmond, and anyone who knows where they are or who may have seen them, to contact us immediately on 0800 056 0154."
