Hijackers threaten woman in park

A woman has been forced to hand over her car by two hijackers armed with a hammer and a screwdriver at a south Belfast park.

The incident happened at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park at about 2030 BST on Wednesday.

The robbers drove off in her Ford Focus car, which was recovered a short time later on Bryanswell Road in Dunmurry.

Two men were seen running from the vehicle towards the Ardkeen area. Police have appealed for information.
