Version 0 of 1.

Shots have been fired in a jewellery store raid in London's West End.

Two men threatened staff at Graff jewellers on New Bond Street at about 1640 BST.

Police said the "smartly dressed" pair fired once while leaving the store and then again in Dover Street where they abandoned a blue BMW car.

No-one was injured in the robbery. The value of the items taken is still to be established. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers particularly want to speak to a taxi driver who dropped the men off outside the shop.

The men brought a woman, thought to be member of staff, outside the store and fired into the ground as they escaped in a blue BMW, police said.

They fired into the ground again when they abandoned the vehicle for a silver Mercedes, police said.
