A man has died following a car crash on the Annvale Road in Keady, County Armagh. A man has died following a crash on the Annvale Road in Keady, County Armagh.
It is understood only the car being driven by the deceased was involved. It is believed the victim lost control of the van he was driving at the bottom of a steep hill at about 0630 BST on Sunday.
The crash was reported shortly after 0630 BST on Sunday. It crashed into an articulated haulage trailer parked in a lay-by at the side of the road.
The Annvale Road has been closed. There are no further details at present. The van ended up pinned under the trailer and the driver is thought to have been killed instantly. His name has not yet been released.
The Annvale Road has been closed and police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
