A 19-year-old man is to appear before magistrates charged with the murder of a woman from Cardiff. A man has appeared in court in Cardiff charged with the murder of 25-year-old Joanna Michael.
The body of Joanna Michael, 25, was discovered at a house in Crumlin Drive, in St Mellons, on Wednesday morning after calls to emergency services. Cyron Douglas Williams, 19, from Pentwyn, was remanded in custody by magistrates to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on 17 August.
Detectives investigating the death have renewed their appeal for anyone with information about the incident or who was in the area to contact them. The body of Ms Michael was found at her home at Crumlin Drive, St Mellons, early on Wednesday.
