A man has died after an accident at industrial premises in Kilkeel.A man has died after an accident at industrial premises in Kilkeel.
The man, aged in his 40s, became trapped under machinery at Engineering and Construction Products on Rooney Road in the town on Monday. Keiran McClean, aged in his 40s, became trapped under machinery at Engineering and Construction Group on Rooney Road in the town on Monday.
Police said the incident was reported to them shortly after 1800 BST. He was taken to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry but later died from his injuries. Mr McClean, who had worked for the company for more than 20 years, was taken to Daisy Hill hospital but later died of his injuries.

Local councillor Martin Connolly said people in the town were shocked and saddened.
