A suspected gas explosion in a block of flats has brought "carnage" to an area of west London, eyewitnesses have told the BBC. A gas explosion has damaged a block of flats in west London but no-one is reported hurt.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called to Macbeth Street in Hammersmith at 1120 BST on Thursday, following reports of an explosion. Investigations are under way into the cause of the blast, which blew out five windows on the first floor of the four-storey block on Thursday morning.
