Explosion targets Afghan capital Huge blast at Nato base in Kabul

A large explosion has been heard in central Kabul, officials in the Afghan capital say. A suicide car bomb has exploded outside the Nato headquarters in Kabul, killing at least three people and wounding at least 14, Afghan officials say.
It reportedly occurred near a Nato base in the city's diplomatic quarter. There has been no immediate word on any casualties caused. A plume of smoke was seen rising above the area, where the presidential palace and embassies are also located.
