The blaze follows a fire at the Crumlin Road courthouse in Belfast which was reported on Friday night and is being treated as suspicious by police. Kevin O'Neill from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said it had deployed the same amount of resources to the blaze as to the previous fire which began on Friday night.
A number of fire crews dealt with the incident and the road was closed until 0430 BST on Saturday. "As a result of the first fire on Friday night the centre part of the roof is gone and a substantial part of the first floor," he added.
Michael Graham of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service had said there was a "large amount of damage throughout the property" as a result of that fire. "On this occasion it is the entire left wing that has been destroyed bar for a little bit up the front from the roof level down to the first floor."
He said the "vast majority" of the centre section of the roof had been "completely burnt away". Police have said they are treating the blaze on Friday night at the courthouse as suspicious.
