South Wales Fire and Rescue Service added that a number of hillside and low-lying properties have been affected from run-off water and blocked culverts - these are tunnels which drain water away. | |
Group manager and head of community safety, at the fire service, Bleddyn Jones said: "The incident in Tylorstown involves a blocked culvert which has affected around 20 to 25 properties, and we are hearing that ports around the Power Station hill area near Pontypridd, there's some localised flooding in that area." | |
