Busy, functional, and a means to an end - an airport is not usually a place to find literary inspiration, but writer Alain de Botton is spending a week on the departures concourse at Terminal 5 doing just that.

He is writing a book about his experiences - and gave Evan Davis an insight into his philosophical observations.
