http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/wales/8211944.stm Version 0 of 1. A woman whose body was found wrapped in a carpet has been named by police as 23-year-old Bobbie Stokoe. She was found by two men in undergrowth on wasteland near Beeches Road, Trevethin, in Pontypool on Wednesday. Detectives are continuing to question a 40-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of murder. Neighbours said Ms Stokoe lived in a flat nearby and they had heard shouting during the night before her body was found. Gwent police inquiries are continuing into how she died. Supt Peter Keen said the force's major incident team was leading the investigation. "We are making inquiries in the area and we are in contact with key people in the community because we are going to be working here over the next few days and I want to make sure people know what's going on," he said. |
